The PV micro grid system is an energy independent solution that uses the pv solar as primary energy source including battery storage and as backup power, it uses the generator power.
The source of energy that Porto Mari where from the generators that was running day and night. Today the generators run only as backup when the solar or battery power are low.
The pv system was installed in year 2022 and the client benefits from the solar energy without using the generator power most of the day.
The generators work only for backup when the sun power is low or when the batteries have reached their state of charge. With the use of the micro grid system, more than 80% of the fuel energy is saved.
